The Kenyan government has launched the Diaspora Integrated Information Management System (DIIMS) on the eCitizen platform, creating a centralized digital portal for diaspora services.

Key services available include registration of diaspora Kenyans and associations, requests for assistance, and reporting of missing persons and deaths.
The State Department for Diaspora Affairs is coordinating these services to address issues faced by Kenyans abroad, particularly in the Middle East.
A 24-hour diaspora response centre has also been established to handle emergencies via phone, WhatsApp, and email.
