Suba South MP Caroli Omondi has been ousted as chairperson of the Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee (CIOC) and moved to the Sports and Culture Committee. This follows changes to the National Assembly committee structure.

• Kitutu Chache MP Anthony Kibagendi, currently suspended, has been removed from the Public Investments Committee on Governance and Education and reassigned to the CIOC.
• Newly elected Kasipul MP Boyd Were Ong’ondo will replace Kibagendi on the Public Investments Committee.
• Mr. Omondi alleges he was unfairly targeted by Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah and Minority Leader Junet Mohamed due to his outspoken opposition stance and recent appointment as Secretary-General of Azimio La Umoja.
