DCI officers are searching for a police officer from Busia County suspected of killing his estranged wife at a hotel in Silibwet Trading Centre, Bomet County.

• The officer allegedly lured the victim, a Junior Secondary School teacher from Nakuru County, to the hotel under the guise of reconciliation and is accused of strangling her to death.
• The suspect later reportedly contacted relatives, leading to the discovery of the body by authorities.
• The deceased had reportedly left her matrimonial home in Bomet County due to a toxic relationship.
