An attack on Musanda Police Station in Kakamega County on Friday night by armed assailants resulted in injuries to multiple officers and a civilian, and the theft of police weapons.

• Two G3 rifles loaded with 20 rounds of ammunition each were stolen.
• The Officer Commanding Station (OCS) and other police officers were attacked.
• The incident involved attackers arriving on motorcycles and a subsequent exchange of gunfire.
