The National Assembly has formed a special team to support funeral preparations following the tragic death of Emurua Dikirr Constituency Member of Parliament Johana Ng’eno Kipyegon in a helicopter crash in Nandi.

• The MP was among six people who died when the helicopter, registration 5Y-DSB, crashed and burst into flames in Chepkiep, Mosop Sub-county on Saturday evening.
• The support team is led by Tinderet Member of Parliament Julius Melly.
• The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, which reportedly occurred after an emergency landing due to bad weather.
