The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has launched an investigation into a fatal helicopter crash in Mosop, Nandi County. The AS350 aircraft, registration 5Y-DSB, crashed around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.
- The helicopter was en route from Endebes to Mosoriot and had six people on board.
- Among the fatalities was Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Kipyegon Ng’eno, as announced by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula.
- The Aircraft Accident Investigation Department (AAID) is tasked with determining the circumstances of the accident.
