A man has been charged with the murder of his brother, a footballer for Kakamega Homeboyz. The accused, Denmark Muchiti Abung’ana, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

• The alleged incident occurred around 8pm on an unspecified date in Masiakali Village.
• The victim was identified as Silas Shihemi Abung’ana, a footballer with Kakamega Homeboyz.
• Denmark Muchiti Abung’ana will remain in detention until March 16, 2026, when the court will decide on bail.
