Interpol has announced the arrest of 60 individuals suspected of child sexual abuse across nine Latin American countries during a major operation. The initiative also successfully identified and rescued 65 child victims.

• Operation conducted by Interpol across Belize, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama
• Rescued victims, mostly girls aged five to 13, some exploited for over 10 years
