Kenyan universities are gearing up to compete in three major international sporting events this year, building on recent successes in national competitions.

The first event will be the World Universities Cross-Country Championships in Kasino, Italy, from March 14-15.
The Kenya Universities Sports Federation (KUSF), led by Secretary General Joan Adalo, confirmed participation based on merit and national titles.
Other international assignments include the Africa Universities Games in Cairo, Egypt (August) and the East Africa Universities Games in Dodoma, Tanzania (December).
