Nation Media Group (NMG) has become the first media organization in the region to roll out a comprehensive policy guiding the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in journalism.

• The new Framework for the Use of Artificial Intelligence emphasizes a "human-in-the-loop" approach, ensuring human oversight in all AI operations.
• Key people involved include NMG Editor-in-Chief Dr Joe Ageyo, who stressed that AI is a tool to enhance journalism, not replace human judgment.
