The mother of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno has appealed to residents to allow her family to retain the parliamentary seat following his death in a helicopter crash.

• Mama Mary Temase stated that leadership would remain within the family for the remainder of the five-year term.
• The appeal was made during the burial service attended by President William Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.
• Ng’eno and four others died in the helicopter crash on February 28, 2026.
