Residents of Narok county are protesting the disappearance of activist Johana Langat Kamilan, who allegedly went missing after an altercation at a condolence gathering for the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno.

• The activist was reportedly beaten and forced out of the event on March 3 following political differences and criticism of the late MP.
• Johana Langat Kamilan, his family, and residents are demanding answers from the Inspector General Douglas Kanja, who has 24 hours to confirm his whereabouts.
• Tensions escalated after a viral video posted by Kamilan allegedly questioned the circumstances of the MP's death and contained ethnically charged remarks.
