Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, has traveled to Moscow to address the plight of Kenyan citizens reportedly trapped in the Russia-Ukraine war. The visit aims to discuss their grievances and facilitate safe repatriation.

• Over 18 Kenyans have reportedly died in the war, with more than 30 missing.
• Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi will meet with senior Russian government officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov.
• The discussions will also focus on strengthening bilateral relations in areas such as Education, Labour Mobility, and economic ties, including promoting Kenyan exports to the Russian market.
