• The Coffee Act, recently signed into law by President Ruto, aims to improve farmer earnings, which have reportedly risen from an average of 50 shillings per kg to 150 shillings.
• Key interventions include re-establishing the Coffee Board of Kenya and the Coffee Research and Training Institute.
• The Deputy President also inspected several development projects in Embu County, including road and market upgrades valued at billions, and a Huduma Centre.
