A Ksh.12.6 million rural electrification project has been launched in Nderema village, Kakamega County, set to connect 161 homes to the national grid within two months.

• Over 160 homes in Nderema village will benefit from the project.
• The project is being implemented by the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC).
• President William Ruto presided over the launch, reaffirming the government's commitment to rural electrification.
