The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rains across several regions of Kenya, expected to begin on Friday, March 20, and continue through Tuesday, March 24.

• Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Central Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, Western Kenya, the Rift Valley, the Southeastern lowlands, the Coast, and Northern Kenya.
• The Kenya Meteorological Department is the source of this weather advisory.
• Rains are predicted to be accompanied by thunderstorms, often starting in the afternoon after cloudy conditions and showers.
