Iran's military has threatened to completely close the Strait of Hormuz if the United States acts on threats to target the country's power plants.

The Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's crude oil normally passes, has been effectively closed since February 28.
The threat comes from Iran's military operational command, Khatam Al-Anbiya.
Iran also stated it would strike Israel's power plants and infrastructure hosting US bases if its own power plants are targeted.
