Harambee Stars left back Eric Marcelo Ouma has launched the inaugural Super Eight Inter-University Football Tournament aimed at nurturing talent and transforming university football in Kenya. The tournament is scheduled to take place at Kenyatta University from May 30th to June 1st, 2026.

The tournament is organized by the Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma Foundation (EMOF).
Eric Marcelo Ouma, a seasoned player with 50 caps for Harambee Stars, emphasized the importance of collaboration in football development.
Participating universities have been divided into two pools, featuring institutions like Kenyatta University, Strathmore University, and KCA University.
