Kenya and Thailand have significantly advanced their bilateral economic cooperation with a focus on digital transformation, innovation, and investment through a high-level business forum held in Nairobi.

• The forum, Thailand–Kenya Business Matching and Digital Partnership 2026, attracted 14 ICT firms from Thailand and about 50 Kenyan technology companies.
• Key Kenyan participants included Cabinet Secretary for ICT and the Digital Economy William Kabogo and officials from the State Department for Foreign Affairs.
• Discussions centered on expanding ICT infrastructure, trade, tourism, and agriculture, ahead of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations in July 2027.
