Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has launched DTB Wearables, a new contactless payment solution in partnership with Mastercard and Tappy Pay. This innovative offering allows customers to make payments using NFC-enabled wristbands and rings.

DTB is the first Tier One bank in Kenya to roll out wearable-based contactless payments.
Key figures involved include Murali Natarajan, Managing Director & CEO of Diamond Trust Bank, Kenya, and Shehryar Ali, Senior Vice President and Country Manager for East Africa at Mastercard.
The wearables, available in wristbands and rings, are powered by Near Field Communication (NFC) and are compatible with contactless-enabled terminals globally.
