Meanwhile, the Niko Kadi voter registration initiative in Kitale was disrupted when armed individuals infiltrated the event, with organizers blaming politicians for orchestrating the chaos. The Linda Mwananchi group, led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, is also demanding the arrest and resignation of Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omolo following an attack on Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi in Kisumu.
