• Governor Nyong’o condemned the April 8 and March 11 incidents, calling them criminal acts that threaten Kisumu County's economic stability and investor confidence.
• Key individuals involved include Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, and former Principal Secretary Irungu Nyakera.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has already arrested three suspects in connection with the attack on Senator Osotsi, while the attack on Fairways Hotel is linked to a dispute over rent arrears.
