• Senator Ole Kina alleges a potential manipulation of pump prices by EPRA in collaboration with certain Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), despite adequate fuel supply under the government-to-government (G2G) arrangement.
• The senator claims Kenya's monthly petrol requirement is 180,000 metric tonnes, with recent deliveries and expected arrivals far exceeding this demand.
• He highlighted that the landed cost of fuel from Europe and the US is around Ksh48,000 per metric tonne, suggesting this should result in lower pump prices.
