Ethiopia's State Minister of Labor and Skills Teshale Berecha praised the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" model, developed by the Confucius Institute and Luban Workshop.
The Ethiopian Technical and Vocational Training Institute (TVTI), home to the Chinese-built Ethiopian Luban Workshop, has trained thousands of local teachers and students since April 2021.
