67 kilometers of roads are currently under construction, with another 70 kilometers set to begin shortly.
The initiative is a result of a Ksh80 billion joint cooperation agreement between the National Government and Nairobi County, led by Governor Johnson Sakaja.
The project, which also includes plans for over 40,000 streetlights, aims to improve Kenya's image by enhancing the capital's presentation to visitors.
