- Over 73,000 people across nine Asal counties are benefiting from the Sh3.22 billion Imara Programme, funded by the Government of Sweden and implemented by World Vision Kenya.
- Simon Muya, a pastoralist in Turkana County, rebuilt his herd from 120 goats lost in the 2022 drought to 270 goats, 150 sheep, 17 cows, and 22 camels by incorporating moringa into animal feed.
- In Samburu County, women like Silverna Lenturkan are transitioning from traditional livestock rearing to beekeeping, with the programme providing modern hives and training, leading to increased household income.
