BasiGo has commenced local assembly of its electric vans, the Ma3e model, in Kenya, marking a significant step in the country's e-mobility sector. This move positions BasiGo as the first to deliver locally assembled electric vans in Kenya.

• Over 500 units have already been reserved, with the first 22 locally built units to be delivered in April and May.
• The assembly is a collaboration between BasiGo and Associated Vehicle Assemblers (AVA) in Mombasa.
• The Ma3e vans are designed for high-utilisation operations, offering up to 300km of range, targeting various commercial uses including public transport and shuttle services.
