Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company has officially confirmed the appointment of Martin Nang’ole as its substantive Managing Director.

• Martin Nang’ole has been serving in an acting capacity since September 2025.
• The confirmation follows a competitive and transparent recruitment process overseen by the board chair, Arnold Karanja.
• Nang’ole, formerly the ICT Director, will focus on improving service delivery, expanding access to water and sewerage services, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and customer service amidst pressure to address water losses and infrastructure expansion.
