Kenyans rushed to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) centers across Nairobi as the 30-day Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration exercise concluded today, April 28.

• Over 1.8 million new voters have been registered since the exercise commenced on March 30.
• IEBC Chairperson Erastus Ethekon urged eligible citizens to register, noting that continuous registration will still be available at Huduma Centres and IEBC offices.
• Delays in national ID issuance, particularly for youths, have raised concerns that thousands of eligible voters could be locked out of the upcoming general election.
