• The delegation, led by committee chairperson Gabriel Tongoyo, observed leaking roofs, inadequate sanitation facilities, and makeshift dining areas.
• MPs emphasized that improving these conditions is crucial for officer morale, dignity, and overall national security, pledging to lobby for urgent renovations and new housing construction, potentially under the government’s Affordable Housing Programme.
