Principal Secretary Susan Mang’eni has debunked a fake social media notice claiming the disbursement of Ksh25,000 start-up capital for the NYOTA project has commenced.

• The fake notice falsely announced the completion of business training and the immediate start of fund disbursement effective May 11.
• Principal Secretary Susan Mang’eni of the State Department for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development issued the warning.
• Beneficiaries are urged to await official communication regarding the disbursement of over Ksh33 billion, which will add Ksh25,000 to eligible businesses, alongside Ksh22,000 in direct support and Ksh3,000 in savings under the NYOTA project, funded by the World Bank.
