A Nairobi Water artisan, Joshua Attuah Omia, has been charged with using a forged KCSE certificate to secure employment and defraud his employer of over KSh5.9 million in salaries.

• The accused allegedly earned KSh5,909,037.10 in fraudulent salary payments between August 2015 and December 31, 2023.
• The key individuals involved are Joshua Attuah Omia and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
• Omia is accused of presenting a forged KCSE certificate with a mean grade of C- and misleading Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Limited about his qualifications.
