The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has commenced the compensation of landowners impacted by the Kengeleni-Kwa Kadzengo Road project, a key part of the Mombasa-Mtwapa-Kilifi A7 road.

• A sum of Ksh3.5 billion has been released to the National Land Commission (NLC) to facilitate the process.
• The compensation is being handled by KeNHA Deputy Director Cleophas Makau.
• The Ksh10 billion, African Development Bank (AfDB) funded project is 56% complete, with an expected completion date of August 2027.
