ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo is opposing a decision to transition the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) and the Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) into purely commercial entities.

• CS Kabogo will present a Cabinet memorandum to rescind the decision, citing the two entities' primary role in offering essential social services.
• The National Treasury had earmarked KBC and PCK for transformation into Government-Owned Entities (GOEs) under the Government Owned Enterprises Act, 2026.
• Kabogo stated that while KBC and PCK have commercial aspects, they are "purely service-oriented" and their inclusion in the GOE list was a surprise.
