The High Court has upheld the auction of former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju's properties, Tamarind Karen and Dari Business Park, to recover a loan owed to East Africa Development Bank (EADB). The sale was finalized in 2024.

The loan amount sought by EADB is approximately Sh4.5 billion.
The court granted a temporary stay on the sale of a second property, Entim Sidai Wellness Sanctuary, contingent on Mr. Tuju depositing Sh50 million in court within 30 days.
Mr. Tuju was also directed to file a formal appeal within 60 days of the ruling.
