• Key organizations involved include the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) and the French government, which plans to invest over Ksh106 billion in port terminal expansion.
• A notable event was the maiden docking of the CMA CGM Adventure Ship, a vessel primarily running on liquefied natural gas (LNG), signalling a shift towards environmentally friendly shipping.
