The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) in Kenya has arrested two senior police officers in Kisii County on allegations of soliciting and receiving a bribe. The officers were apprehended after allegedly receiving a partial payment in connection with a land dispute case.

• Officers arrested after allegedly receiving Sh 40,000 of a demanded Sh 100,000 bribe.
• Suspects identified as Kitutu Central DCIO, Chief Inspector Nicholas Waringa, and Corporal Lovy Ochieng Ouya.
• The arrests stem from a complaint regarding alleged facilitation of an arrest in a land dispute case in Nyanchwa Estate.
