The Kenya Meteorological Services Authority (KMSA) has issued a five-day rainfall advisory from May 30 to June 3, 2026, warning of moderate to heavy rains across several regions of Kenya.

• Heavy to moderate rainfall is forecast for Western, Central, the Lake Victoria Basin, Rift Valley, Coast, South-eastern Lowlands, and North-eastern Kenya.
• Over 20 counties, including those in Western, Lake Victoria Basin, and Rift Valley, experienced showers and thunderstorms on Friday night.
• The advisory also forecasts cold weather in Central Kenya with night temperatures dropping to 5°C, while daytime temperatures could reach 37°C in the North-west and Coast.
