The County Government of Kirinyaga has assured residents that healthcare services will continue without interruption despite a planned go-slow by health workers. The county is addressing concerns regarding wages for casual laborers and promotions.

• Approximately 237 casual workers have been onboarded to the new payroll system and paid all salary arrears.
• Key individuals leading the assurance are Chief Officer for Health Dr. Mureithi Nyaga and Kirinyaga County Assembly Health Committee Chairperson Bosco Gichangi.
• Public health facilities are well-stocked with medicines and medical supplies following a major order through KEMSA.
