Kenya Power is set to close all its banking hall payment counters by June 2027 as part of a comprehensive digitization initiative called “Twende Digital.” This move signifies a significant shift towards online customer service engagement.

• All payment counters will be shut down by June 30, 2027.
• The company, led by Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jeremiah Kiplangat, aims to enhance customer experience and accessibility.
• Digital platforms already account for over five million customer interactions monthly, with a reported 70 percent reduction in banking hall traffic since the introduction of digital solutions.
