Several regions in Kenya, including Nairobi and Kiambu, are expected to receive rainfall between June 9 and June 15, according to the Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA). While most of the country will remain dry, highlands and coastal areas are forecast to experience wet spells.
- Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kericho, Nyeri, Meru, Embu, Murang'a, Kisii, Kakamega, Bungoma, Mombasa, Kwale, and Kilifi County are among the areas to receive rainfall.
- The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA), an independent regulator and service provider, issued the weekly weather forecast.
- Residents in towns like Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Voi, Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera should prepare for daytime temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, while some highland areas will experience cold nights with minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.
