Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has unveiled Kenya's Sh4.3 trillion national budget for 2026/27, prioritizing education and national security.

• The Education sector received the largest allocation at Sh784.5 billion, nearly a fifth of the total budget.
• Key recipients include the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) with Sh424.3 billion.
• National security is the second-largest beneficiary, with a combined allocation of Sh567.4 billion, including Sh252.1 billion for the Defence Ministry.
• Infrastructure, health, and environment sectors also received significant funding.
