KCB Group has announced significant milestones in its green financing and sustainability initiatives, disbursing Sh48.8 billion in green loans and screening Sh587.9 billion in regional financing, exceeding its strategic targets.

KCB Group CEO Paul Russo highlighted the bank's commitment to shaping a sustainable financial ecosystem in East Africa.
The bank surpassed its 2025 target for green projects, reaching 25.84 per cent of total lending.
Beyond financing, KCB planted over 3.5 million trees and supported clean energy adoption in 266 schools.
The group also disbursed Sh149 billion to women-led businesses and provided formal banking access to 20,299 refugees.
