The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has revoked the operator licence of Nicco Movers 1 Sacco, ordering an immediate cessation of all operations. This drastic action follows the tragic death of a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student.

Nicco Movers 1 Sacco's licence has been revoked and operations suspended effective immediately.
The NTSA, under Director General Nashon Kondiwa, issued the directive.
The suspension is in response to the death of 19-year-old KMTC student Eugene Mutuku on June 4, 2026, allegedly after being thrown from a moving Nicco Sacco matatu.
