The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has revoked the operator licence of Nicco Movers 1 Sacco following the death of a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student.

• The Sacco's licence was revoked due to a lack of adequate safety protocols and demonstrated loss of control over fleet operations.
• The incident involved the death of KMTC student Eugene Mutuku, who was allegedly thrown from a moving matatu on Thika Road on June 5.
• NTSA has directed law enforcement to impound any vehicles found operating under the Sacco, emphasizing that the vehicles are considered unsafe.
