The Nairobi Expressway will be closed for 24 hours from 10pm on Saturday, June 13, to 10pm on Sunday, June 14, to allow for the installation of beams for a new footbridge.

The closure affects both carriageways of the Expressway between Airtel Complex and General Motors (GM).
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) and Moja Expressway are involved in the traffic management.
The new footbridge is being installed to address the frequent crossing of over 3,000 pedestrians during peak hours.
