The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KMSA) is forecasting very cold weather across several parts of Kenya for five days, from June 13 to June 17, 2026, with temperatures potentially dropping as low as 4°C.

Minimum night temperatures in Central Kenya, including Nairobi, are expected to range between 4°C and 6°C.
The KMSA has advised residents in affected cold-prone regions to take precautions.
Intermittent cold, cloudy, and rainy conditions are predicted for Central, Western, Rift Valley, Lake Victoria basin, and Northern Kenya.
