A Ugandan national was apprehended on Sunday along the Maai Mahiu-Naivasha highway in a sting operation targeting drug trafficking. The arrest led to the recovery of a significant quantity of narcotics.

• Police recovered three bales of cannabis sativa.
• The suspect, identified as Daniel Musubo, was arrested by detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) and the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU).
• The illicit goods were found concealed in a Scania truck bearing the registration number UBN 042.
