Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (Ketraco) has successfully energized the Sh8.4 billion Isinya–Konza 400kV transmission line and Konza substation, a crucial development for attracting investment and supporting industrial growth.

• The project includes a 98-kilometre double-circuit 400kV transmission line and a 400/132/66kV substation.
• Key stakeholders include Ketraco, with acting Managing Director Kipkemoi Kibias highlighting its importance.
• The energised infrastructure will ensure reliable power supply to Konza Technopolis and the lower eastern region, benefiting Kajiado, Machakos, and Makueni counties.
