Nairobi residents and businesses in 17 estates will experience a 24-hour water shortage on Saturday, June 20, due to urgent repair works.

• The disruption affects areas including Westlands, Lavington, Kilimani, Upper Hill, Karen, Lang’ata, Madaraka, Ngong Road, Kibera, Uthiru, Kawangware, Kangemi, Ruai, Ngundu, and Kamulu, as well as parts of Ong’ata Rongai.
• The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) announced the shutdown.
• The interruption is caused by a leak on the NCT Raw Water Pipeline near the Kigoro Treatment Works, requiring immediate attention to ensure system integrity and prevent water loss.
